The soundtrack to my first novel, Radio Radio, differs from the one for Postgraduate. Some of these songs are referenced in the book. Others were songs that inspired the story. I tend to write my books like a screenplay, and these are songs I hear in my head as if this was a movie. Some of them, like the Tom Waits song, didn’t lyrically match the scene I had in mind, but the feel of the song seemed to mesh well with vibe I was going for.
Some artists mentioned in the text, such as Gordon Morris, Charlie Brandenburg, and Timeline, are total figments of my imagination. Obviously, they won’t be represented in this playlist. However, they are based on some genuine artists.
Enjoy
